Packaged with a copy of the novel on which it is based, And Then There Were None puts you in the shoes of Patrick Narracott. Trapped on an island, you proceed to watch as one after another of the game’s characters get knocked off. Excellent voice acting helps keep the storyline intriguing, and it’s full of simple object-oriented puzzles. Mystery fans will be kept guessing all the way to the end, though a lot of tedious backtracking does its best to kill the suspense. For casual mystery fans, it’s a decent alternative to some of the more challenging adventure games, such as last year’s superior Still Life.
